Notice on Maintenance Suspension of Tianmen Cave Express Cableway

Dear visitors,

To guarantee the safe and stable operation of cableway equipment, in accordance with the company’s annual work plan for safety production, the Tianmen Cave Express Cableway will undergo maintenance from 8 October to 12 October 2026 and suspend passenger services during this period. The temporary operational adjustments are notified as follows:

From 8 Oct to 12 Oct: Ticket sales hours will be adjusted to 06:30 – 16:00. Passenger service starts at 07:00. Only Round-trip Cableway Route A will be available for sightseeing. Round-trip Cableway Route B and Route C tickets will be suspended from sale. One-way Cableway Route 1 and Route 2 tickets will remain on sale.

During this period, the lower section of Tianmen Mountain Cableway (lower station to middle station) operates normally. The upper section (middle station to mountaintop station) remains closed for renovation construction. The temporary sightseeing route for Route A tickets is listed below:

Take the cableway uphill from Tianmen Mountain Cableway Lower Station → arrive at Cableway Middle Station → transfer to scenic shuttle bus to Tianmen Cave → take the 7-section mountain tunnel escalators (upper escalators) from behind Tianmen Cave up to the mountain top → visit mountaintop attractions → take the 7-section mountain tunnel escalators back down to Tianmen Cave → board scenic shuttle bus at Tianmen Cave Square to Cableway Middle Station → transfer to cableway downhill back to Tianmen Mountain Cableway Lower Station.

While Tianmen Cave Express Cableway is closed for maintenance, the previously released announcement regarding route adjustments during the suspension of the upper section of Tianmen Mountain Cableway (both on-site and online) shall be temporarily invalid. This notice shall prevail.
